This Is A New Security Threat On eBay!

The Scammers Are Using eBay's Mail System To Send Phish Emails As Question To Sellers! I Have Seen These Messages For About 6 Months, But They Have Increased Severely! The Scammers Hope You Will Copy And Paste The Link I Highlighted In Red Below Into Your Browser, Where They Will Have A Fake eBay Sign In Page Waiting To Steal Your Identity!

It Used To Be Legitimate Email's Would Be In Your My eBay Messages! The Scammers Were Making A Killing On The SCO Scams, But Since eBay Cut Them Off By Hiding Bidder Identities, They Have Increased Other Scams Like This One! They Are Used To A Steady Cash Flow, And Will Stop at Nothing To Keep It Flowing!

The Server This One Traced Back To Appears To Be In India, But I Think It Could Be Spoofed Somewhere Else! With The Availability Of Internet Phish Kits Becoming More Popular, These Scams Will Be On The Rise!

So If You Get An Email Like This One Delete It!! There Is A Thread Discussing This On eBay's Trust And Safety Board! If eBay Deletes The Above Thread (As They Usually Do) It Is Screen Shot In Our Archive!
