PONTIAC GTO SPORTS COUPE
It’s no wonder when
you see they only produced 8,319 Sports Coupes. This
car comes complete with Pontiac Historic Services
documentation (PHS papers) indicating it is indeed a
genuine GTO and not a clone. This is the only way to
know for sure that you have a real GTO. It is a
factory 4-speed car that has the tri-power carburetors
and air conditioning installed. It has complete
instrumentation including the built in tachometer plus
the Pontiac manifold vacuum gauge mounted on the
center console. The radio is an original style working
AM/FM unit with the reverb system (early form of
stereo) and a power antenna. The mileage indicated is
47,640 and has been represented as original. Other
equipment and options include remote outside mirror,
inside tilt mirror, back up lamps, soft ray shaded
front glass, seat belts, safe-t-track rear axle and
tilt steering. It also has power steering and brakes.
These cars were originally rated at 335 horsepower but
with the tri-carbs that went up to 360 horsepower.
When you get into it she moves out very strongly.
Bucket seats with center console are the front seat
layout. This is a very nice car with excellent body
panels, floors and trunk floor. Paint and interior are
very good as well. It has Rally Wheels with Chrome
trim rings and center caps and Red Line tyres.
Finished in its original colour of Iris Mist with the
interior being Parchment and Black.
