When it’s an eBay Motors / Experian Auto Check History Report – Police Car.. LOL!

If you have not heard about it yet – eBay Motors leaped into bed with Experian Auto Check to provide free vehicle history reports to prospective buyers. This is a good idea, but i wonder why they they didn’t contract with CarFax?

I have looked at all the Ford retired Police Cars on eBay Motors and not one of them is listed as a Police Car in eBay’s FREE Auto Check History Report.

No Police Useage Found - LOL!

Before this recent change – if a seller was a CarFax Dealer and had purchased a CarFax report for a vehicle in his inventory – clicking the history report tab on an eBay Motors listing would display that CarFax Report to the prospective buyer.

Also I’m sure any knowledgeable licensed dealer will agree that CarFax is The authority on vehicle history reports, and has the most sources of data available. CarFax provides detailed service history from franchised dealers, oil change specialists, and other service facilities.

This is the result of eBay not knowing diddley about the car business and trying to run an automotive site.. They leap into bed with another company that don’t even know what a Police Car Is..

I have never had a consumer come on the lot and ask for an Auto Check, have you?

Wouldn’t you rather have a CarFax Report??
